Event Description

Join the ASPMN Journal Club to discuss the article A progressive agenda toward equity in pain care. Author and ASPMN member, Dr. Staja Booker will be joining the discussion. CNE credits will be available.

Completion of this session will include 2.0 CNE for the program.

 

• 26 minutes to read the article (average of four readers)
• 60 minutes for the Journal Club discussion
• 15 minutes for eval (standard time for all evals)
Objectives (scale of 1-5):

1. Interpret how the intersection of identities impact the treatment of pain.
2. Describe one case where the intersection of identities had a negative impact on an individual.
3. Formulate a personal plan utilizing steps outlined to improve your provision of care to marginalized persons or communities.
